Well, Hello 2020!

Hey everyone,

First of all – huge apologies. I started this space to share my love of playing with makeup, experimenting with skincare, making lovely friends and then, fell into that crappy trap of comparing myself to the “influencers”. They looked perfect and had perfect pics with perfect lighting and of course I could never compare. It took a good conversation with another friend to make us both realise that we were never influencers to begin with. We were always bloggers who blogged about our fascination with makeup and products; and occasional venting! with our unkempt eyebrows we showed how to use the eyebrow products and with pasty legs we showed how we use the tanning gels. AS REGULAR PEOPLE DO.

So, I am taking the step to start this space again. because 2020 taught us that anything can happen. So I’m going to take inspiration from the phrase YOLO and try to do what makes me happy. Although, walking on the streets of Rome seems like a far off dream now.

Meanwhile, here are some of my insta posts on what I’ve been doing so far. I’ll update this space with more soon enough.

The only "skincare" I'm indulging in these days.. 1) The @vichyusa was on my mind from a long time, so when the cerave one failed (see my post from a few weeks back), I thought the vichy mineral was the best choice. Also @simonescribes , who is one of my favorite person on insta, sang it's praises, I was tempted. And my skin just drinks it up. 2) The @clinique all about eyes eye cream. This is my 3rd tub and I will probably get it again. It spreads and sinks in my skin. The darkness of my circles might never go away but this cream really helps them look not too dry and fresh. This one's going to finish soon and now I'm looking to try some creams with caffeine in it. Possibly ordinary or inkeylist. What are your recos. 3) possibly my favorite sunscreen. Although I haven't tried many, since most of them broke me out, I tried the @coola mineral sunscreen and it opened my mind for mineral sunscreens. I will now only use those. Thanks to @influenster who sent this a few months back and I have honestly used it a lot. It is easy to work with, blends on the skin nicely and dries a bit matte. No shiny nose, no stretchy skin. I've ordered la roche posay next but if that doesnt work, I'll totally get this again. How does your skincare look like, send ideas !! #skincare #summerskincare #sunscreenforoilyskin #walgreens #vichy #vichymineralserum #clinique #cliniqueskincare #cliniqueallabouteyes #coolasunscreen #influenster #discoverunder5k #l4l #sephorabestsellers
