Scentbird is a monthly perfume sampling subscription box. When you sign up, you take a preferences quiz to help them suggest recommendations for you to try, and you can also go browse and rate the rest of their selection to make the recommendations even more accurate. You can build a queue of fragrances you’d like to try or you can let yourself be surprised every month. This box was sent to me for review purposes.
Cost: $14.95/monthly, $14.50/month with a 3-month plan, $14/month with a 6 month plan, or $13.50/month with a year plan.
What do you get: One 8 ml spray atomizer of a 100% authentic perfume.
With your first month’s delivery, you receive a perfume case that fits your 8 ml sprays inside . It comes in a light cylindrical case which is easy to open and close, making it a delight to travel with. To open it, you just twist it. Twist again to lower the spray completely down into the case to keep it safe in your purse. To switch perfumes, you just open the case, pull the vial out, and place the next one inside.
My take on Scentbird : I was skeptical at first because I keep losing the samples I get at Sephora. Also the fact that they finish in like 4 spritzes. They have hundreds of perfumes for selection which was really nice. If you want to have a few special perfumes without committing to a full bottle, this is a great way. I say this because I have a few bottles of my favorites and I’m so scared to carry them – specially in flights!!! I selected the Gucci Guilty from the Scentbird list because I wanted to try it since ages!
All perfumes are authentic. While ScentBird isn’t associated with the designers or manufacturers in any way, they do pride themselves on offering only authentic perfumes. So, you don’t need to worry about dropping money on a knock-off!
Basically, all you need to know is that ScentBird is a great way to test out some killer scents on a budget! All you fragrance-lovers out there, I highly recommend giving ScentBird a shot!
Comparisons : The basic complaint everyone has is “why to buy samples when we get them free at Sephora” … you my friend are so wrong!!! If you see the pic, There is a vast difference between the sizes. This baby is very comparable to a rollerball that costs almost $25.
