I have been searching for a good Tinted moisturizer (TM) for about 5-6 years now…. When I was in college there was a lot of roaming around in the sun and a normal moisturizer just wouldn’t suffice. The sunscreen was a dreaded word as I had a very oily hyper acne prone skin. When I started working , It was the same old story. A normal moisturizer wasn’t enough and applying a foundation everyday was also not a good option. I always was on a lookout for something in-between and after using a couple of duds and many many years of mixing 1 part foundation and 2 parts moisturizer (which is not always successful) – I finally found this 😀

Yesterday evening I was pretty bored and after dinner (at around 11pm) something just snapped and I thought of doing this look…. and my hubby was totally bonkers as he saw me suddenly going in my make up corner and whipping out things and starting to paint my face…. LOL

Let me start this post by wishing all my friends a very very happy Diwali and a happy new year! Diwali is the festival of lights and is celebrated on a very large scale in India with lots of crackers and lamps and decorated lanters… I miss celebrating it with my family and bro… but Hope all you guys are having a great time! Thus I thought of making a look just for the festive season 🙂

I just realised Ive been doing less and less of make-up tutorials these days and so decided to go for something that is very IN this season… I’m trying to make a series out of it but for a while I’ll start with the Metallics. This is a metallic silver- smokey eye…. actually I think there may be like a million versions of Smokey eyes involving black but what to do- the thing is quite in vogue… hehehe.. But for my next tutorial I’m planning to experiment a bit – will let you know about it soon 😉 😉

NYX Mega shine Lip gloss LA-LA Review & Swatches!

I picked this up in Vegas in like 5 mins because I got so excited seeing a NYX counter – they are so freaking difficult to track- even ULTA keeps all NYx leftovers 🙁 .I wanted to try something from NYX (I ended up buying 5-6 products ;)) they really are great as a brand and definitely on-level with some high end brands.
WIth most of glosses I felt that they have a plasticky-mediciney smell – which is nauseating… This baby has a mild bubble gummy smell which goes off in a while so I found it to be very playful. In the tube it looks more of a watermelony-pinkish-peachy-color. But when you apply it its a very wearable pink. Just enough to give a pop of color without being loud.
