Happy Monday ladies… Monday is the most tiring day of the week for me because other than my usual things to do, I’ve to clean up all the mess we make on the weekend.. hehehe
If you remember, last month I posted HERE about a MUFE haul and a lot of you were interested in the lipgloss and the blush. I reviewed the lipgloss HERE and I thought today might be a good day to write about the blush too 🙂
When MUFE came out here, the 3 most popular and sought out products were the HD foundation, the loose powder and the HD blushes. The blushes are a bit peculiar in their cylindrical bottles with the pump dispenser. Very intriguing right?
Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Blush ($25.00 for 0.33 oz. – I bought a smaller pack as a part of some promotional package) is described as a coral-orange with a satiny feel.
It is a very light-weight blush and can be applied sheer or can be easily build up. The pigmentation and the consistency is just excellent as you can see in the pic. The blush(thankfully) has no glitter and is just a solid color. Quickie gives me a nice inner glow kinda flush, It looks just like a decent pinky-Coralish on me. nothing OTT. I apply it with fingers first and then blend with a stippling brush. These blushes dry out super quick, so I blend them out without delay and work one cheek at a time :). once dried, they are set for almost 6-7hrs on my oily-combo skin. On dry skin, they may last a little longer 🙂 The best part: they don’t clog my pores.
The price might be a nayyy but for the amount of blush you get, it will last you for more than a year even if you use it everyday. Very little quantity is needed. The pump dispenser is great for hygienic reasons but I kinda have a trouble getting product out of it coz it dispenses way more than I need 🙁 I have to figure out a way to make it work *sob-sob*
I love this one even though I’m not such a big fan of cream blushes 🙂
Step 1: pat on the cheeks:
Step 2: blend,blend,blend 🙂
Verdict: I love them and I’m using them a lot this summer. perfect even for hot-humid climate 🙂
