Sending gifts to India gets easy with Couponrani.com

Me and my brother have these monthly random discussions which go from weight to food to clothes to peer pressure- which somehow leads to “awwww” or “arrrghhhh” . I always look forward to those talks. The other day he was gushing about how these days he loves to eat Subway salads. For some reason, the topic drifted to the coupon sites in India. If you know me, I left India around 3 years back and that time FlipKart had just arrived- so my knowledge in that area was limited. I was recently duped by a site called CouponDunia so I absolutely steered clear of online shopping in the Indian market (which I mostly do to send gifts to  family).  He told me about a site he shops often from and That’s how I was introduced to CouponRani….

So what’s it about ? :  They promise you Free Coupons That Work always. They will provide you with best experience by showing only coupons that we test at-least once a day. They are available on Twitter and Live chat to help you find the best coupon.

They offer a differentiated set of products which include :

CouponRani.com : Leading and fast growing site for coupons, offers and deals in India.

Blog.CouponRani.com : Best source of curated set of hot deals.

India Discounts Chrome Extension : A Chrome Extension that makes coupons available to the consumers without leaving your shopping site.

Coupon API : An API for our B2B partners, who would like to offer coupons to enhance their product offering and increase revenue.

My take on the website:  Seriously, who does not like discount shopping. For me personally, the main fun aspect in shopping at Linking road or Colaba causeway was the haggling with vendors for discounts. Online shopping is really a boon for working/busy people and someone like me who is miles apart from home but would still like to send my family gifts & small tokens of love.  They provide various offers on products from various leading online shopping websites like Amazon, Myntra, Yatra, Snapdeal, Dominos and many more.  When I first signed up, I was amazed to see Makemytrip coupons which honestly is a boon. I remember 4yrs back when we had to scour the entire mumbai to hunt for vendors to plan a good trip to North India. To make life easier, they have categorized into Dining, travel, health & beauty, Kids, electronics etc so one can directly navigate to their interest without getting lost in tabs and sidebars. Also, specially check out the  Travel CouponsElectronics Coupons and Beauty/cosmetic deals

For me, the movie coupons were a big surprise. Tell me, who doesn’t like a good movie deal.

How it works : You click on the desired deal and the coupon gets activated for the store, then it leads to that particular store where you can select the products/services of your choice and the discount is calculated during checkout.

It has partnered with a ton of cult shopping sites such as Myntra, amazon, Zovi, Jabong etc which are  really big online retailers right now.  Thier customer service is also absolutely prompt and they happily answered all my queries.  I did have a problem earlier with some sites sending wrong orders/sizes to the destination and with me being miles apart it was a massive hassle. With CouponRani, I had no such worries. Also, the best part is- your credit details do not go through multiple channels so there is a negligible chance of fraud. And we all know how important that is.

Verdict : Well, I’ve installed the Chrome extension so I can click on deals easily and my brother is happy as well since now I can bribe him with food (Pizza) anytime  🙂
