St Patrick’s Day EOTD

St Patrick’s Day EOTD

Hello lovelies.. Wishing you all a very happy belated HOLI!!!  Im missing all the Holi fun we had back in India and even though I didnt play much with colors it was still fun laugh St Patricks Day EOTD
Anyhow, on 17Th March people here celebrate St Patrick’s day as they believe  it was St Patrick who in the olden days preached Christianity to the Irish folks. And on that day there’s a parade in some cities and people all wear green clothes and drink green beer.. We skipped on the beer but we got a change to get all colorful with the clothes and makeup. LOL.

The EOTD that day was: St Patricks Day EOTD

This is a turquoise blue shade which I just extended below the crease and towards the brow bone. Actually for this look the entire credit goes to hubby dear.. (this will take another blog-post.. *wink wink*)  and I just applied black eye liner which also I extended towards the brow line a bit and a pearly white shadow to highlight the brow bone. Added some mascara to it and I was all set laugh St Patricks Day EOTD

More pics:

And the OOTD which was a Green Tee which I had cut at the collar since it was all packed at the neck and black silky-crepe material 3/4th which fits like a dream smile St Patricks Day EOTD and some simple cutesy flip-flops!
For the face I used a peach blush and brown lip gloss.

lin3 300x200 COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.

Directions: Starting at the inner corner, make small lines along the upper lash line close to the roots.  Use the patent-pending tip to smudge the line near the lashes if desired.  Place cap tightly on product after use.

The Liner comes with a smudger attached at the other end which I thought looks like an eraser.

lin4 300x149 COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.

My take on the product: The application was very easy. I usually start from the mid to the end and then form the inner corner. That is because Im not perfect in applying liners as well as some girls and so all the heavy thick line is in the outer part and then the thin line comes in the inner corner smile COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.

lin6 300x225 COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.

It comes out as a soft creamy brown more like a chocolate-y shade. Nice brown, not too dark and not too light. Also, its  Easy to apply,Not hard, a nice soft point. You do need a makeup remover cause soap and water won’t touch it as I found out the hard way smile COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.

The one thing I liked about it is that when smudged with a smudger it didnt fade the liner like some pencils it just spread it a little. just like a cream liner. Also,  It dries up quickly so we have to smudge it within seconds of applying and it stays put for hours.

lin7 300x205 COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.

Im planning a cool smokey eye with this wink COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.

Now the Pros and cons:)

PROS:
- Blends Easily
- Easy To Apply
- Long-Lasting
- Bold Color, Doesn’t Run
- Easy Removal
- Glides On Smoothly

CONS:
- Since the pencil is very soft, you’ll need to sharpen it every few days, depending on your manner of usage. Also, since it is so soft, put it in your freezer for a bit to harden it and make it easier to sharpen. Works like a charm! Got that tip from the Cover Girl website.
- Fades Throughout the Day

It retails for about 7-9$ and My next is going to be the blue one coz it looks so angelic smile COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches. I had tested swatches of urban decay 24/7 liners and this seems to be a perfect dupe for them. and that too at half the cost laugh COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.
Also- I will be testing its intensity in the sun today i.e outdoors so will update with the results too smile COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.
hope you liked the review and do let me know if you’ve tried these liners smile COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner BROWN BLAZE review and Swatches.
Until later,
love,
Bee

Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist

Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist

Heyyy everyone!!! how’s the week going on? My diet and exercise were on a toss last week but from yesterday Ive got it back on track (with a little exception ;)).  This week my hubby’s friend had come to visit us so we roamed a lot on foot checking out various gardens and small but nice coffee shops and stuff.  I’ve made a mental note that I should try out the local food and gourmet stuff- specially their gourmet coffee. whether its India or anywhere in the world  we should try and taste all the local exotic stuff smile Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist Pizza-burger is lying in every corner right????

So, while I was loitering around a bay-side mall I happened to pass a Bath & Body works outlet. And I remembered that Ive to get a small bottle or tube of hand lotion for hubby dear coz  his hands were getting dry and peeling off. and I wanted him to carry something with him all the time. So I went and asked the SA to show me something which has less or zero fragrance.  Also- THERE IS AN OFFER GOING ON – 3 MINIS FOR $10.  yaayyyyy!!!

I picked up 3 minis :
1) Moonlight Path body lotion: The site says: Our exclusive Signature Body Lotion formula, fortified with powerful ingredients like super conditioning Shea Butter, fast absorbing Jojoba Oil and protective Vitamin E, hydrates skin with moisture that lasts all day. Our non-greasy formula absorbs quickly and completely to leave skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and nourished, making it the perfect daily moisturizer.

  • Our exclusive Moonlight Path fragrance is an opulent floral bouquet that captures the essence of moonlit strolls in lush garden
  • Key fragrance notes: French Lavender, Lily of the Valley, Oakmoss, Musk

The Ingredients:

Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist

My Experience: A very light fragrant lotion which is thick enough to cover the dryness but also light enough not to break out the skin or appear like a shiny layer on top of you skin. Its kinda musky but very alluring. My favourite as of now smile Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist Its a very sultry floral musk which is great for dates and nights out! WARNING: If you are not a musk person this may not be for you!

2) Secret Wonderland body mist: Master perfumers have blended luscious strawberry and frosted jasmine petals with magical notes of white amber and creamy sandalwood to create this whimsical fragrance inspired by a world you never dreamed existed.

  • Top Notes: Luscious Strawberry, Wild Goji Berries, Ripe Raspberry
  • Mid Notes: Gardenia Petals, Jasmine, Peach Nectar
  • Base Notes: Coconut Musk, Creamy Vanilla, Sandalwood, White Amber Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist
As you can see- in 2 days Ive finished it so much. hehehe. I am totally liking this mist. Gives a very fresh feeling within.  Specially if you spritz after a shower or a work-out… ahhhhh-BLISS!!! I wish I could pass the fragrance like the pics Ive posted. lets see- maybe science will catch up. But I do recommend this to everyone. totally thumbs up on that one laugh Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist

3) Sea Island Cotton: This body lotion  is lying in my hubby’s office drawer but it has negligible scent and is great but I havent used it so cant really say anything.

Hope you like my Little B&BW haul. My next buy is going to be the Japanese Cherry blossom range smile Bath & Body Works® Signature Collection: Moonlight Path body lotion & Secret Wonderland body mist Till then – Adios and have a great week ahead!!!

Love,
Bee
