EOTD and My First Make-over party :D

EOTD and My First Make-over party :D

Heyy Lovelies how was your weekend? Mine was great and I troubled my hubby a lot. hehhe. This is actually a long delayed post as this event happened more than a week ago but I was a bit tied up and a little lazy so doing this now wink EOTD and My First Make over party :D

I wasnt aware of this concept called  a make-over party or rather a get-together. This was when I went to my zumba session Liz who is my favourite trainer and my only friend in the tower *sob sob*  mentioned about a small event for the ladies which comprised of a mini massage, a make-up session and yummy snacks with music and stuff. I saw this as an opportunity to meet people even though frankly me and hubby dear didnt think it’ll be much of a make-over.

So on the day I showered and showed up at the venue.. and it was beautifully decorated with rose petals and lovely colors and candles.

IMG 7658 200x300 EOTD and My First Make over party :DThen we kinda had a meet and greet where I met many beautiful ladies and we all had a lot of fun and some yummy snacks.

Well, then we went to my favourite part the make-over laugh EOTD and My First Make over party :D

This was actually a launch pad for a new range of cosmetics launched recently called as “MERIXY COSMETICS” Its actually a new-york based cosmetics range which is recently launched and they have their show-room very close to where I stay. you can find the complete range here: http://www.merixy.com

IMG 7624 300x200 EOTD and My First Make over party :DAt first I observed a few ladies get their make-up done as I wanted to clear my doubts about the range and also to learn a few steps.

grp 300x151 EOTD and My First Make over party :Dliz 300x177 EOTD and My First Make over party :DI really had a great time at the event and definitely loved the look.

About MERIXY COSMETICS: they seem to be a fine range of products as all the products that were used on me suited me well and also blended well with my complexion. They also have moisturizers and toners which are selling fast smile EOTD and My First Make over party :D  A special mention to their CONCEALERS which did a great job of hiding all the blemishes and dark circles and a lot of ladies bought those. Also their Eye shadows and pigments are very vibrant and have great staying power. After I came home I cooked an entire meal and after more than 4 hours it did not crease.  only when I accidentally rubbed my eye a little mixing happened. So i am looking forward to purchase a few products myself..

Hope you liked my li’l fun outing.. HAve fun gals..

Love,

Bee

The Product description said: - Canvas and pig skin lining

Our experience: They are soft, flexible and perfect for work-outs and sports too. Also they seem very durable.  Total thumbs up from my guy. smile ADIDAS MENS Y3 TRAINERS review

The upper fabric is Original leather and the soles are rubber which makes it a perfect combination of toughness and stability. The shoes dont slip even on moist surfaces and has a great grip which makes it perfect for playing sports as well as a gym work-out(Specially for lifting those weights blank ADIDAS MENS Y3 TRAINERS review

The site says: Yohji Yamamoto is arguably the most influential and avant-garde designers of our time, approached Adidas as the original sports brand to initiate a collaboration. Together Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto developed a collection that represents fashion, sport, fine craftsmanship and the future of sportswear.

Y-3 has not been created with an image and prestige perspective in mind, but to succeed and surpass. Y-3 completes the Adidas product range from sports preformance to sports heritage with Adidas Originals as the third Adidas division, sports style. Its a perfect fusion of innovative design, sports functionality and spotless craftsmanship. ‘Y’ stands for Yohji Yamamoto, the ’3′ represents Adidas’s iconic three signature stripes and the ‘-’ signifies the link between the two. Unlike previous collaborations, Y-3 is designed from scratch rather than a customisation of existing Adidas styles. Expect a highly technical modern look combined with Japanese style, quality and attention to detail.

You can also shop from their site here: ADIDAS Y3 TRAINERS.   We have ordered a few women’s trainers as well and the shopping was a pleasurable experience.

Hope you like my experiences and happy shawpping ppl..

Love,

Bee

My 1st Valentines…. well, technically ;) [gifts haul,my haircut and EOTD]

Hello cuties…. so how was ur valentine’s??? Well, I do agree with some ppl that celebrating Love 1 day of the year is blahhh…. but then Its just like birthdays- u just need a reason to celebrate right???
hehehe

We actually started our celebrations on friday itself with yummy steamed lobsters and grilled fish and some TP. On saturday we went to see Black Swan finally.. OMG dimaag ko shot hain bilkul.. I seriously dont understand why it was nominated for the oscars sad My 1st Valentines.... well, technically ;) [gifts haul,my haircut and EOTD] I mean if she has to experience everything herself for a role , doesnt it make her a bad actor??? But I liked Mila Kunis in the movie- she was grt…. talking abt Mila- I heard she did a 7k$ worth of a facial! WTF- I can shop an entire year with that amount.. hehehehe

Well, back to the topic. I had the most awesome weekend and the V day thanks to my Darling hubby and so dedicating this post entirely to him.
We went to Forever 21 coz there was some waiting before my haircut and I got these things:

1) An interesting police-style tee:

IMG 7725 300x200 My 1st Valentines.... well, technically ;) [gifts haul,my haircut and EOTD]I know they are like passe WRT Indian fashion but chunky gold and silver bangles/stacked bracelets are a rage here and gals wear them with tees, tops, tanks and even with blazers….  trust me  they look so grt smile My 1st Valentines.... well, technically ;) [gifts haul,my haircut and EOTD]

the bangles came for 5$ and the clip for 4$

3) A cinch belt:

REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15

REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15

Heyy my beauties… first of all Happy weekend and Happy Valentine’s Day in Advance laugh REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15  hope you all have planned grt things for the day. Too bad its coming on a monday :((  Anyway, when I landed here in US, I was introduced to the Aveeno product family by my hubby dear. Till then I had no idea and just like all the skin care jars and bottles I thought them to be looking nice sitting on almost all the possible shelves in drugstores. Later when Fall started making the skin dry and messy I picked up the aveeno body lotion and trust me guys: I was hooked!!! I was so in love with the product. I’m on the second bottle right now . Also the winters were making my face all dry and crumbly with a lot of redness. I was panicky coz not only it looked wierd, it stung too sad REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15

At that time I was using my Neutrogena face moisturizer which was good in the summers but I needed a little bit more- a moisturizer which is deep enough to moisturize in winters but light enough as to not break me out. got the point??? smile REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15

So while I was waiting in the billing line once I happened to come across this product: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15. My heart wanted to get it right then but I was more cautious as in the past ive picked up some real blahhh stuff impulsively heheheh.

So, I came home I did a little bit of R-n-D and considering the Aveeno reputation I just picked it up. I picked up a  twin pack for about 14$. The Aveeno range is pretty famous here and every year wins a lot of beauty awards.

AV1 300x200 REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15The Site claims: With clinically proven Total Soy Complex and natural light diffusers, this daily moisturizer evens out skin tone and texture and immediately reflects light to bring out skin’s natural radiance. Its fast-absorbing formula leaves skin soft and smooth and is clinically proven to improve skin tone and texture in as little as 4 weeks. Gentle enough for sensitive skin and daily use, this moisturizer is also oil-free, hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic, and contains SPF 15 UVA/UVB sunscreen.

IMG 7620 300x200 REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15My take on the product: I have been using this moisturizer for over 2 weeks now and I am very happy with it. It took care of all the winter problems, the redness was gone and my face didnt hurt when I smiled(which happens to me in winters. hehee) Also since I am a bit regular with my CTM routine these days I am not breaking out as well. And on top of that it has SPF 15 UVA/UVB blockage. Awesome right?

This is what it looks like:

IMG 7618 300x200 REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15And after lightly blending into my skin it looks like:

IMG 7619 300x200 REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15Also: it gives a great glow when I mix it with my foundations. I had used a particular cream before and it used to sting when mixed with foundations. This one absolutely does not sting and blends beautifully making a great tinted moisturizer.

PROS:

- Moisturizes well but is oil free

- Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic (means it does not clog pores. yayyy for oily-combo gals like me.)

- Gets absorbed quickly so you dont have to rub a lot.

- Leaves skin smooth and takes care of skin irritations.

CONS:

- Really cant think of any but I didnt find any Skin texture difference as the product claims. but no complaints as it is keeping my skin smooth and no redness.

WILL I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE? : Definitely. everyone from Dry to oily skin people can use this with no issues. I am  a sensitive skinned oily-combo myself so even I have to think a lot before getting a skincare prod. thank God this worked smile REVIEW: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF15

So Sweeties I hope you liked the review and Do leave ur feedback and comments. It will be highly appreciated. Have a great weekend ahead.

Love,

Bee.
