~Look and Eye of the day~

heyyy lovelies  hope ure doing great and wid Christmas just 4 days away lots must be going around. I heard from certain frnds that Malls and societies are filled with Christmas decos and lot of them have christmas parties in their Schools, colleges or workplaces…. yayyyyyy
I miss those Christmas parties we had in school- we used to sing Christmas carols, songs and every1 wore colorful clothes. my school and Diploma years were the best. I really cherish those moments a  lot..

So this saturday me & my hubby were gettin real bored and decided to just hang out in downtown for a while. And I decided to wear my new Tee and Skirt which I had picked a few days ago so this is kinda a mini haul too

the overall look I put together came out to be like this:

The tee has a cute Snowflakes and Reindeer detailing. I paired it with a short flowy blue plaid skirt. I love plaid and asssociate it with the winters for some reason
I was searching for Red plaid but didnt find it but the blue is pretty as well
The black tights are with me since months now and I wear them a lot…. and I mean- A LOT!!!  wid kurtis, long tops, etc etc (not like pants though.. LMAO)
The shoes are Ankle length winter boots with faux fur… ideal for winter outings.. As it is my feet are prone to cracking- well, dats for another post

I wore small silver trinkets to go with the detailing on the Top and avoided any other jewellery coz i didnt want it to look OTT

As for the eyes :

I used green coz I wanted to give my eyes some depth. I had already done a look with Blue and Ive kept purple for a special post later
so heres what i did:

1) Prime the eyes with an ELF primer.
2) take a light shade of green (u can use a lemony green) and apply it on ur lid till the crease.
3) take a dark green shadow and apply it as a straight line on ur crease – i used a pencil brush.
4) Now blend the crease – actually in any application blending is the Key. I still have to master that
5)Now take a moss green eyeshadow and apply it on the outer V of ur eyes. blend it properly with the crease color.
6) I took a buttery shade as a highlighter and applied it below the browbone as a highlighter. A white shimmering shade will also look great.
7) Then line ur eyes with a deep black eyeliner. and Apply mascara after curling your lashes.

And voila youre done

I have the kind of eyes that have a small lid so when i open my eyes the lid color is not so much visible. Hence i emphasize more on the crease color and the Eyeliner.

For the rest of the face I just used a nude lippie and a nude lipgloss as the emphasis was on the eyes.
Also – Do apply a light blush- i conveniently forgot that

Anyways- m seriously trying to lose weight. Im hitting the Gym alright but i really need to curb my sweet tooth. anytime i see a cookie  or a brownie I go mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

so trying my best to have realistic goals while not losing hope… Hope i acheive that…  well; theres hope again! I love that word. hehehe
